Hip-Hop? Good. Puns? Good. Hip-Hop Puns? Meh. Don’t sweat the technique (or video)!
Tonight, I worked on my new set at Anto Chan’s Oh Pun Mic at The Central. He likes puns. A lot. But while some comedians derided Anto’s foray into clever wordplay, I laughed at every quip. So, in keeping with the theme of the show, I decided to start my set off with some puns. As it turned out, things went arite!

I approve of this set! Wish you weren’t heckled, though…
Antonius Chan!
Thanks man! You know what…I wouldn’t even call it heckling lol. I mean, I said that white people don’t know anything about rap, and if an audience member that loves rap responds, hey, I created that situation. That said, it turned out to be the funniest part of the set that night!
Keep doing your thing, man. You’re one of the nicest guys on the scene,
MJ
Hey thanks, man. How long have you been doing stand up?
